A company like Ampere needs a whole variety of content for its ever changing ads and marketing approaches, they also have a growing range of products and are frequently launching new ones. My partnership with Ampere includes a photoshoots at least every quarter: one ‘studio’ day, which is often as simple as setting up on a dining room table and cycling through different products on different backgrounds; and a day with some friends capturing lifestyle images around town, or inside in cafes or a house. Beyond the images, a series of video clips are made to match, where the colour grading, and retiming is done on my side, and then that collection of clips is then reworked by their in-house video editor who makes them into kickstarter videos, social media ads, and other content.
